Diet for Healthy, Long & Shiny Hair
Here in this video Dr. Mukesh Aggarwal expounds what are the ideal food habits for getting healthy hair. He tells hair is made of keratin proteins, so we should take proper amount of proteins in our meals. We get proteins from milk products, eggs and legumes. Iron should be the other essential part in our food, and we can get it easily from leafy vegetables like spinach. Vitamin A ,which forms sebum is found in carrot, pumpkin, sweet potato etc. Vitamin C, which is very good for skin and helps in preventing dandruff, can be easily consumed by drinking lemon water and by eating citrus fruits. Vitamin E and essential fatty acids that make hair shiny and silky, can be obtained from walnuts, almonds and peanuts. Vitamin B complex, zinc, biotin are others essential food components that can easily be obtained from whole grains. Dr. Aggarwal further says if a person includes all these components in his food, then he can get healthy and beautiful hair.
